Time flies when you’re brewing beer…
Since the University of Sheffield commissioned ‘Beer Report’ was published last year (March 2016), authored by Pete Brown, there was a quick fire momentum of news and press coverage. Then Sheffield quietly got on with brewing and hosting beer events. In a way it has for the last twenty years, with care and passion.
As another 12 months rolled on, we felt it was perfect timing to regroup and celebrate the continued momentum plus provide a platform to engage again. With the support of the University of Sheffield and Marketing Sheffield we are hosting two launch events at Roco, creative hub and co-op.
The first is a beer industry focused panel event hosted by ‘Beer Report’ author Pete Brown. Looking to discuss key momentum topics identified via the report. Writer and broadcaster Pete Brown will moderate the panel discussion whilst asking panelist members from Marketing Sheffield, The University of Sheffield and Sheffield Beer Week to discuss key suggestions and share relevant news. Questions will then be taken from the audience for the last 15 minutes of the session. More details and Eventbrite ticket (free to register) links HERE.
After the panel closes, we’ll move into Brood, Roco’s bar area to continue launch celebrations for Sheffield Beer Week 2017. Roco’s new cafe bar space offers a selected range of great beers on keg and in bottle, with a number specially selected for this launch from local breweries. This event is open to everyone. Tickets and details HERE.
Let’s raise a cheers to beer!
